Will T-Mobile Give Customers MLB.TV for Free Again in 2020?

The answer is yes!

On March 24th, 2020 (which ironically isn't a Tuesday) T-Mobile customers will be eligible to receive a free subscription to MLB.TV for the 2020 season. While it's not a surprise as T-Mobile is an official sponsor of MLB and has offered this promotion for a number of years now, it's nice to see it confirmed.


To take advantage of this deal you'll need to have an active monthly voice/data plan and will need download the T-Mobile Tuesdays app.

MLB.TV for 2020 Has Been Announced and the Blackouts Are Still Here

MLB.TV Starts Feb. 28, 2020 If you're like me, you're an every year subscriber to MLB.TV. I just got the email this afternoon announcing the return of the streaming service for 2020. Yearly subscribers will auto-renew on February 28th. The price this season is $121.99. If you only care about having access to your favorite team's games you get a single-team subscription for $93.99. If you are a current student or active military, you can qualify for a 35% discount on these prices . What about the blackouts? Sadly (but not surprisingly) the blackouts appear to still be in place for this season. There have been some rumblings in the past few months that the blackout restrictions could start going away as early as this year, but the email received today explicitly mentions the blackout restriction policy. Lucky T-Mobile Customers Are Getting a Free 1-Year Subscription to The Athletic!

Free MLB.TV + The Athletic Subscription It's a great time to be a T-Mobile customer! In addition to the free MLB.TV promo that's been running for years now, T-Mobile announced today that current customers will also be eligible for a free 1-year subscription to The Athletic . That it is quite the perk and has me a little jealous as a Verizon customer. Because of the merger with T-Mobile, Sprint customers are also eligible for both promotions.  The perk goes live on Tuesday, July 21 and you'll have 2 weeks to redeem. More info here .
